Fire protection rolling gate drive Type WHF

This fire protection rolling gate drive is a complete unit that closes the rolling gate automatically without any current by fire. It exist out off a spur gear transmission with an electric motor of 230/400 V. AC 50 Hz. Inside is a centrifugal brake mounted, a service brake of 205 V. and a safety brake of 24 V. On the drive is a control unit mounted with 3 phase safety circuit, contacts, motor protection, control current fuse and push buttons fort he adjustment off the limit switches.

Operation of drive
The drive and fire protection rolling gate will standard be closed and opened by means of push buttons or a key switches. When smoke appears or temperature increase a detector shall cut the current off the 24 V circuit and loosen de magnetic clamp which set the brake free. The fire protection rolling gate shall shut automatically due to his own weight, the centrifugal brake controls the speed of the gate. By means of a safety contact rail, which is connected with the 24 V brake, the rolling gate will stop as long as the safety contact rail is activated. When the fire protection rolling gate is almost closed a rod shall move the lifting lever of the brake and let the gate stop at the right end position. At option a mechanical siren can be delivered, this siren produces 100dB. At the end of the fire alarm the lifting lever of the brake must be pushed back to the magnetic clamp. This operation can (at option) be simplified mechanically or automatically.
