OPTIMUS

Operator for swinging gates type OPTIMUS

Operator for swinging gates protected against the most conditions. Due to the robust method of construction it is extremely reliable and especially suitable for industrial use. A noiseless self-locking worm-wheel gearbox with integrated infinitely variable torque limiter. The worm-wheel of special bronze and worm are equipped with ball bearings and runs in oil.

The self-locking of the operator and the stretched position of the swing arm mean that the gate is mechanically locked in the closed position. An additional gate lock is not necessary. The quick release enables manual emergency operation. Furthermore, this operator is equipped with a three-phase motor and magnetic limit switches.

By using a quick unlocking system the gates can be opened manually whereby the motor limit switch setting remains unchanged.

The separate control boxes can be chosen from the WST/AST series.

WH-R

Operator for sliding gates WH-R – WHNV-R

Noiseless, self-locking worm-wheel operator with additional brake and integrated infinitely variable torque limiter between motor and gearbox. Only one free shaft, right or left. The wormwheel of special bronze and worm are equipped with ball bearings and runs in oil. The worm-wheel of special bronze and worm are equipped with ball bearings for noiseless operation. It has standard a range of 33 rotations of the main shaft. The AC motor is directly flanged by means of a flexible coupling. Standard voltage 3-phase AC 230/400 V. (special voltage at options). In case of emergency it is possible to open the gate manually by unlocking the torque limiter. This does not affect the limit switch setting. This does not affect the limit switch setting. Horizontal position is recommended.

The control box
Standard equipment of the operators: electric controller according the VDE prescriptions. Control voltage 24 V. Auxiliary push buttons open – close for operation during mounting. Possibility of connection of remote controls of any kind, safety rail control, photocells etc. Auxiliary push buttons open – close for operation during mounting. The operator can also be equipped with a limit switch system ES10. The limit switch consist out of a potential free switch, a control current limit switch for the end positions and a safety switch for each side of rotation.

GST

Operator for sectional doors Type GST 120

Gear box with irreversible worm and worm wheel with hollow shaft of 25,4 mm. The wormwheel of special bronze and worm are equipped with ball bearings and runs in oil. The AC motor is directly flanged by means of a flexible coupling. Standard voltage 3-phase 230/400 V. with thermal protection in the coil (special voltage as option). The unit can be mounted in any position : the horizontal position is recommended. The limit switch shaft with its own drive worm is integrated in the gear box.

The limit switch
On the reduction is a box mounted with limit switch ES10, this can be connected with a separate controller which can be chosen out of the LST/WST range. The limit switch consist out of a potential free switch, a control current limit switch for the end positions and a safety switch for each side of rotation.


The Emergency chain operation
As option an emergency chain drive type SK can be mounted on the electromotor. It can be used for a horizontal and vertical placement. The emergency chain drive can be activated with the activation-chain. On the inside is a safety switch which prevents the activation of the motor during emergency. During emergency mode the setting of the end switches stay preserved.

NSA-RS

Folding door operator Type NSA-RS

Compact unit of a robust welded structure, with built-in irreversible worm wheel reduction gear with spur wheel step, 3-phase AC-motor with coiled-in thermal protection. Drive shaft with double-sided drive arm, limit switch system and adjustable patented torque limiter between motor and reduction gear. This means that as soon as the motor stops – independent of door position – the irreversible worm gear locks the drive arm and thus the door leaves. A quick release by handle or – at option – by a pull cable control enables a manual operation of the door.

The limit switch
